Ms. Shirley Leong Lee Chuin was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in October 2023. She has been with our Group since November 2022.
She is a Chartered Accountant by profession and she is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (“CIMA”), the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”), and the Chartered Global Management Accountants (“CGMA”). Prior to joining Avaland, she was the COO of Quill Group of Companies, overseeing the retail mall, automotive, healthcare and investment properties. She is an experienced financial professional which has more than 25 years of experience in Financial Accounting, Project Financing, Debt and Equity Capital Funding, Corporate and Debt Restructuring and Group Treasury, Cash Management and Information Technology in various sectors such as property development, investment properties, retail malls and hospitals. She has also worked in few other major listed companies such as Road Builder’s Group, Sunsuria Berhad and Tropicana Corporation Berhad.
She does not hold any directorship in public companies and listed issuers in Malaysia.
